About Eye Precision Mobile
Eye Precision Mobile is a lite, all-in-one iPhone app that combines the core functionality of Eye Precision and EP Recorder into a single, portable package. No desktop required — record and analyse eye movements directly on your iPhone.
The app uses your iPhone's optical (visible-light) camera to record the eye, then analyses the footage on-device to produce movement graphs and annotated video output. It is designed for single-eye (monocular) analysis.

Mobile vs. desktop Eye Precision: Eye Precision Mobile is a convenient, self-contained alternative to the desktop app — ideal for fieldwork, quick assessments, or when a laptop isn't practical. The desktop version of Eye Precision supports two-eye analysis, a wider range of camera hardware, and deeper customisation. Some users may find they want both: the desktop app for detailed research and the mobile app for on-the-go use.
Videos must be recorded with an optical (visible-light) camera — typically a smartphone camera. Infrared-only cameras (such as dedicated VNG goggles) are not supported.

Eye Precision Mobile can pair with EP Animations to run standardised test protocols — pursuits, saccades, OKN, and more. EP Animations displays the stimulus on a separate screen while the mobile app records and analyses the eye's response, giving you structured, repeatable results on the go.
